Review Engine

The five stars get asked for. Every job. Automatically.
PART OF THE PYRSOS SYSTEM · BUILT FOR THE TRADES

Review Engine texts your customer the review ask after the job closes. It asks the way you would if you had time: by name, while the good work is still fresh. One ask, one nudge, then it leaves them alone. When a review comes in, good or bad, it drafts the reply and holds it for your go-ahead. Built for HVAC, plumbing, septic, and restoration shops. Only customers who opted in to texts ever get the ask.

01 · THE LEAK

The work is five stars. The rating does not show it.

The job went clean. Your tech swept up, the customer shook his hand at the door. Then the truck pulled out and nobody asked. By dinner that customer has moved on. The five stars he would have given you are gone. The only people who post without being asked are the angry ones.

A Harvard Business School study of independent businesses found that one star on a rating moves revenue 5 to 9 percent. Put that at monthly grain. A shop billing $40,000 a month has $2,000 to $3,600 riding on a single star, every month. And the star is decided by which of your customers bother to post.

The review gate is one leak of five. Run the full five-leak math on the homepage, then run your own board through the calculator. This page covers the one leak that never shows up on a report: the ask nobody made.

THE ASK GOES OUT. THE STARS COME BACK.
02 · HOW IT WORKS

Three steps. None of them are yours.

1. The job closes. That is the trigger. No list to keep, no sticky note on the dash, nothing for your tech to remember on the drive home.

2. Within the hour, the customer gets a short text from your business. Their name, a thank-you, and the review link. If they do not answer, it nudges once after two days. Then it stops. You approve the exact wording before a single ask goes out.

3. You see the results. New reviews land in your morning report. For each one, Review Engine drafts a reply in plain English. You approve it, or change a word first. Nothing posts without your say-so.

03 · WHAT YOU GET

What it does, in plain terms

Why the stars matter before the phone ever rings: 97 percent of consumers read reviews before picking a local business, and 68 percent will not use a shop rated under four stars (BrightLocal Local Consumer Review Survey 2026). Your rating is working on the caller before you get a chance to.

04 · STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Fair questions, plain answers.

"Won't this annoy my customers?" No more than a thank-you note would. It asks once and nudges once, and only customers who opted in to texts from your shop ever get the ask. Happy customers mostly say yes. The rest hear nothing more.

"What happens when a bad review lands?" It cannot hide it or take it down. Nobody can, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something. It flags the review to your phone fast and drafts a calm, factual reply for your approval. The next hundred customers read how you answered. That reply earns back more than the review took.

"What won't it do?" Buy reviews, invent reviews, or screen out unhappy customers before the ask. Any of that can get a shop pulled off the map listings, and it is the wrong way to run a business anyway. It asks real customers about real jobs and handles the follow-through you never have time for.
